OKC Crane Collapse Destroys 3 Vehicles

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma City police and fire crews were called to Deaconess Hospital after a crane fell over.

The incident happened Wednesday at the hospital at 5501 North Portland Ave.
The fall left the crane lying on its side.
"You can see the power lines, electrical lines. It just barely missed all of those. The yard we are standing in has a lot (of) kids' toys. Nobody (was) out here at the time," Oklahoma City Fire Department Maj. Jim Williams said.
Investigators said the crane's operator was attempting to replace a cooling unit when something went wrong and the crane tipped over. The unit crushed three cars,(space)and the crane landed in a back yard of a home.
Police said the Rent-A-Crane company operates the machinery, and it wasn't the company's first incident. According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the company was fined in 2010 for a crane accident that
