Deadly Holiday Weekend on South Bay Roads
The Santa Clara County medical examiner's office has identified a man who was struck and killed by a car in Campbell early Saturday morning as 47-year-old Kevin Keeler.
The collision happened at about 2:30 a.m. on Winchester Boulevard near Chapman Drive, according to police.
Keeler was found lying in the road in the far right lane of southbound Winchester Boulevard. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car that struck Keeler has been interviewed by police, and the collision remains under investigation.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Traffic Sgt. Richard Shipman at (408) 866-2710.
The same medical examiner office also identified two people who were killed in separate crashesin San Jose over the long weekend.
The first crash, which occurred Sunday evening in the 2200 block of Camden Avenue, claimed the life of Kiel Sturm.
