Police have released the names of three people killed in a head-on collision with a log truck in north-western Tasmania yesterday. Police say the three people were killed instantly when their station wagon collided head-on with a log truck and got trapped between the truck and a telegraph pole.
A 16-year-old girl survived the crash.

YET ANOTHER log truck accident occurred on 29 February 2008 on the Gordon River Rd near the National Park Hotel. This is at least the 5th heavy vehicle accident in recent years on this 8 km stretch of road between National Park and Westaway.
