Should a firefighter's suicide count as a "line of duty death"?

If a firefighter commits suicide due to stress, anxiety, and/or PTSD caused by traumatic incidents and calls they had experienced in their career--- should it be counted as a line of duty death?

    Might as well explain myself....

My father was a career firefighter in a town. He was diagnosed with PTSD after a horrific train vs. car accident that led to the death of three people. He worked at extricating the victims out

My brother in law is a fireman and I was told after a tramatic experience they are told they have to go to counseling to make sure no phys problems. Did you father not go? Was it documented that he was suffering? If it was then i should think you have

Sorry to hear about your father. I can understand where he was coming from. Unfortunately, his death does not count as a LODD.

LODD is when a firefighter dies or is injured that leads to his death while he is on duty. While your father

I'm pregnant and my fiance and I fight a lot. What do I do?

Well... my fiancee is in a 30 day program for work. His visiting hours clash with my work hours so I don't get to see him as much, but he calls me everyday. We found out I was pregnant while he was in the program and we decided to go through with the pregnancy. Now we argue a lot and I'm just so emotional! And I hate it! This recent fight started with me getting into a car accident, it wasn't bad, but it scared me a lot. So I called him and left a

    Montville probing 2 WPCA accidents

No work was being done at the time of the accident.

Water and Sewer Commission Chairman Tim May said the two employees were in a manhole when the accident occurred. The two got sand, grit, sewage and water in their eyes, which required medical attention.

May said the employees allege McNally, who left the scene before the valve explosion, didn’t answer phone calls for help.

    Second accident

The second incident occurred Dec. 28 near Haughton Cove Manor, a retirement community in town, according to a report written by the injured employee on Dec. 29.

McNally and the employee, whose name was redacted from the report for medical privacy, went to Haughton Cove to pump out a manhole so a contracted plumbing company could fix a leak and change out the meter, the report said.

McNally and the employee were working with a pumper truck, which has a large hose to pump out the manhole.

The report said McNally wasn’t “manning the vac valve,” and the plumber, not knowing, opened the valve too fast. Opening the valve sent 100 pounds of water pressure through the vacuum hose, which the employee was holding. The water came on too fast, and nearly pulled the employee into the manhole, the report said.
