I'm in fl. My OB has just placed me on light duty at work due to complications of pregnancy. My manager informed me that our company will not accommodate light duty unless it is from a work related injury covered under workers comp.
Fl is a right to work state. Just wondering what my options are. Can they really refuse to give me light duty work? And if they refuse, what are my options?
there is no law that says any employer must provide light duty for any reason, they may have their own policies regarding it.
