i told the manager i couldn't do any heavy lifting and i really had bad neck and back pain . I felt uncomfortable about the situation and I quit because I am pursuing a suing case. Waxahachie, TX ( Law Firm Newswire ) February 29, 2012 – The latest stats show Texas had 2,998 traffic fatalities and an annual economic cost of $19.76 billion due to motor vehicle crashes, according to the Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety. Texas received a “yellow rating” along with 25 other states, which means that the state showed moderately positive performance but there are still efforts that can be done to lessen serious auto accidents.
“Every day individuals and families are dealing with the devastation of a bad accident and trying to heal,” said Waxahachie personal injury attorney John Hale, of The Hale Law Firm. “You definitely need to get legal representation to deal with an insurance company so you are adequately compensated for your medical expenses, pain and suffering and lost wages.”
Recently, some Texas highways have been increased to 75 miles per hour speeds. Maintaining a safe distance and being aware of driving conditions is critical at higher speeds. The Advocates for Highway and Auto Safety recommend that Texas adopt motorcycle helmet laws and text messaging restrictions to reduce accidents and fatalities further. Texas does a good job with primary enforcement seat belt laws, booster seat laws, open container laws, and some cell phone restrictions, the group notes. But with numerous gaps in state laws, the state still has room for improvement.
