    Spring drilling company sued over alleged workplace accident

    A drilling company with an office in Spring is being sued over claims it failed to provide employees safe equipment, which resulted in an injurious workplace accident.

    Osiel Armenta filed a lawsuit on Tuesday, Feb. 21 in the Harris County District Court against Nabors Industries, with an office in Spring, citing negligence.

    Armenta says on Dec. 4, 2011, he sustained serious injuries on the job when a crane operator struck his left arm with a load of pipe. According to the brief, Nabors knew the crane that hurt Armenta needed to be repaired or replaced.

    Armenta is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Vuk Vujasinovic.
